How does it work?
Whenever you register for a class or workshop online, you'll be prompted to create a user account during the registration process. The information you provide there can then be used to log in here.
- Register for a Workshop
- Create your username and password during the registration process
- Check your email (Don't see it in your inbox? Check your junk/spam folder and mark it as not junk/spam)
- Click on the activation link in the email and... Voila! You're good to go!

The Bascom's Education Department is committed to providing life-enriching experiences through comprehensive arts education for children and adults. We offer a variety of educational programs which include workshops, ongoing classes, Art by Appointment, Open Studio Packages, field trips, demonstrations, community classes, and clubs - designed to meet the needs of artists of all skill levels.

Refund Policy (Please Read!)
50% of your tuition payment is a non-refundable deposit. In the event that a student requests cancellation prior to 45 days of class/workshop commencement, he/she will be offered a course transfer or refund of 50% of the tuition payment. If a student cancels within 45 days prior to the first day of class, no refund will be made. The Bascom reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet minimum enrollment, and full refunds will be issued.

Holiday Market Reception with Hot Chocolate and Festive Treats
Continue the holiday cheer after the Highlands Christmas Parade at The Bascom’s second Holiday Market Reception! While our November event kicked off the season, this family-friendly afternoon is the perfect way to keep the celebration going.
Explore our winter wonderland, filled with unique, handcrafted gifts for everyone on your list. Warm up with hot chocolate, enjoy seasonal treats, and listen to cheerful holiday music. The kids will love writing letters at the Santa Letter Writing Station and creating Make-and-Take Ornaments in the SmART Space. Plus, don’t forget to capture a fun moment at our photo selfie station!
Join us for a memorable afternoon of shopping and celebration—there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Bring the whole family to The Bascom for a special day at our Holiday Market! On December 14th, Santa will be here for photos, so don't forget your camera. While you're here, warm up with hot chocolate and enjoy festive treats as you explore a selection of unique, handcrafted gifts perfect for the holidays.
This event is free and open to all, though donations are appreciated to support The Bascom’s community programs. Come make lasting memories with us this holiday season!
Hand Building Functional Pots with a Focus on Surface Decoration
We will cover cool, pinch and carving. We will explore handles and feet. We will make dishes and candle holders and other functional ceramic pieces that are used on the table and in the home. Special attention will be paid to surface decoration using wax resist, Mishima and inlay techniques. Students need to bring a variety of underglaze colors.
